Eeeeeewwww! You remember living in CA what potato bugs look like? That's the gross out equivalent of cockroaches to me. Actually, I prefer cockroaches to a big nasty potato bug, and I am not easily freaked out by bugs in general.
Your situation is still better than when I came home from a movie (Knocked Up - go see it, funny) and when going to bed finding a huge cat shit and pee all over my side of the bed, down to the mattress pad. Nice going to bed at 2am on a school night, waiting for the bedding to be clean and dry, huh?
