I dig what you've visualised for yourself. If you can stretch your goal to include something that you really want to work for, it's like a light in the dark when those classes get too hard or the same old ten-hour shifts at work get grueling. For you, it's the Keys. For me it's an English cottage (or heck, a Scottish one) and an antique typewriter.
Damian wonders if you watch Bones. I think you could take 'er. ;)
Visualization is the only way I can make it through some things. I've got to have a final goal in mind or nothing happens.
And no, I don't watch Bones, or CSI or any of those crime drama shows. They make me want to throw things at the TV because their methodology is so flawed and the technology is fake.
Kat, almost everyone I've ever known has been in your shoes at one point or another. It's tough figuring out what you want to be when you grow up. Personally, I decided to just not grow up. :D But I still picked a major (and then changed it 3 semesters in). I got my four-year BS in 7 years and a summer... But 2 of my closest friends today started the same semester as I did, and we all 3 graduated together. Pretty awesome how that worked out
