Lots of very practical recipes, right? ;) Or not. But you have to admit that they are fun to read! Although the 'f' thing did begin to grate on my nerves after awhile. . . hopefully you don't have the same problem! ;)

Actually, I can't wait to try a number of these! I like that everything is natural and so simple. Although they didn't seem to care much about cholesterol; the lemon cheesecake recipe calls for 12 eggs and half a pound of butter!

I don't mind the f/s thing at all. Actually, I find it quite fascinating linguistically. I finally figured out that it's not the number of times it is in a word, but the sound it makes. S sound like a z (pleases) has the traditional lowercase s, but in a hissing sound (like hissing) it has the f thing. And I have gotten so used to it that I don't notice it anymore. :-)

Huh, I hadn't noticed that, but I'm sure you are right!

Yikes! Dont' try that recipe! If you did you'd die and it would be my fault for giving you the gift! ;) :-|

LOL! I should have known that you would have that reaction. :)

Oh cool!! When we were in Willaismburg Jess and I tried to figure out why they seemingly randomly put f's in instead of s's. I'll tell her that you've stumbled upon the secret. ;) Or is she on your friend's list?

I don't think she is on my friend's list. And I didn't exactly stumble upon the secret... I spent hours reading and analyzing this book today, and thought about it for a long time. It helped that I have taken linguistics and learned linguistic longhand for different sounds, one of which is the elongated S (which ends up looking like an f in print). Anywho, go ahead and tell her. :-)
