I cannot watch anymore coverage of the VT massacre. It's really messing with my mind. I haven't been sleeping well. The knot in my stomach is just now starting to go away. I must say I thought NBC's decision to air the killer's video and pictures was STUPID!!! Jesus, that's just like rubbing salt into a wound. Dear Lord, give me strength

Hot Fuzz is a British comedy spoofing (for lack of a better word) big action movies. It's about cops in rural England.

I concur; I haven't seen the video (thank goodness; I don't have cable) but I was reading the story on the front page of the paper and I had to stop in the middle. It was so creepy. Good grief, if this guy was as alarming as people said he was, why did no one really investigate? Well, I know no one really COULD since that's an invasion of privacy, but...*sigh* If we don't, then we get situations like this.

Where's the line between finding and stopping those who are really violent and sick and being the mental health police? No idea.

I have to change channels as well - I can't handle the coverage of the massacre either - please, stop rubbing it in. Makes it hard for people to heal - not to mention that not this much attention is given to the people who die in Iraq every day. :/

As for Hot Fuzz, I'm dying to see this movie! Looks soooo funny - need a good comedy amongst such crap that's in theaters now.

true, but i think comparing the two isn't right. in a war, death is unavoidable. but on a college campus?? almost unheard of.
