I've never read the graphic novels and only know of the character through the recent film -- but I thought Deadpool was a boring part. Maybe if I read a comic I'd feel differently? I can't imagine them basing an entire movie about it but eh, who knows.

I'm no X-MEN expert & he's definitely an X-Related character. Technically, I think the absorbing powers thing is sorta accurate & I sorta remember him teleporting... & his face is all kind deformed or scarred... though WHY if he can heal right? The Cyclops power's a bit over the top though. But anyway, I remember him getting some cool & funny lines, worthy of a goof ball like Ryan Reynolds. But I think we're bordering on the Superman problem, where the character's just too powerful to have interesting storylines.
