I really like the altar! I think you did a great job cutting it out...I know how you feel, I'm no good with measuring either.

I didn't consciously try to correct your english!!!! I didn't even notice a mistake. Anyway, have you seen the old russian and spanish altars in that shape? Even me, who has issues with Christianity find them really lovely. I like yours better, though.

i adore your little wardrobe *teeeheee*

and just think with the office job, if you get it you can buy more art supplies! see there is an upside to everything... and work will also give you more fuel for your art

Love you

well, it's a good hand anyway! : )

And yeah, still making art. While sitting with Nana I worked on it all night long.

The show is April 8 and 9 so I'm trying to finish everything up. I'll take some photos tonight I think.

How did you make the altar? Was it easy or difficult to make?

Reply

violentsoul March 23 2006, 07:53:33 UTC
well as I said it it was difficult though when you look at it it looks quite simple;)
in fact I had to trace lines and measure thing, use a pair of compasses and finaly made it;)
I really cannot really make a how to because I don't think straight when I do such things,my unlogical brain makes me do it the most difficult way and think too much when it could be easy to think clearer and more logically
but now, I have the template of this one so I will use it:p
but Seb told me I also should tried to make different shapes for altar, with swirls or things like that!
so why not?
but though it's not easy you could make it because I did;) eheh
but it's been a while I had this idea in mind and I finally decided it was the right moment to make it...ah procrastination;)
