So this is my not-so-official checking-in entry. All is well, considering the obvious. Damn, I thought my life resembled a Lifetime movie before! So anyway, the kids and I are physically safe. All I can say at this point is that I am very proud of you! This has been horrific and I know that some of the things to come will be really a test of your strength. Just take it one thing at a time.

Thank you for checking in. I know we don't know each other super super well, but I have bben worried for a bit. I was relieved when Tory said you were safe. I was keeping you and your children in my thoughts and prayers... but hearing (er... you know what I mean) from you is the best news ever. I'm glad that you're okay. That things will be better. VI! I just want to say that you're such incredible strong woman (I knew that before) and you don't see it now (maybe) but you'll get through this.....IF you ever need any help or an ear, you know where to find me (or just asked Tor, she's got my phone number).
