I saw Joe Totten yesterday just down the street from my house. I was riding my bike to the comic book store (in disguise as usual) when I noticed him sitting on an oke tree limb high above the street. I stopped ( Read more... )

He always does. I might not see him for years, then he will show back up when I least expect it. Sometimes he helps me out, sometimes he harasses me or plays cruel tricks on me. It's a love hate thing, but he will always be my friend.

Joe Totten, my life long friend, a traitor? Hmmm...I wonder if it's really him. I'm going to have to give this some thought. Thanks for the insight.

oceanic intel.div. informs me that the agents in blue have received extraterrestrial information on joe and they plan to use joe to invoke the dead midget armies to burn down comic book stores.
"comic book stores bad. they teach kids the truth. must destroy."
thats the latest game the blues are playing.

that is why joe vanished.

They know.And they want him.

buy an extra head.

you need the eyes and ears and mouth to alert you.

find joe a spaceship. send him away to someplace safe.

Brave compatriot, for all our sakes, see to it that your transmissions aren't being intercepted. Though your ingenious code will likely throw them off, their elf generators we cannot afford to underestimate.

heh, i always like hearing about cops getting thrashed. Have you ever read Merecedes Lackey? You know, the Diana Tregarde series?

No, I havn't heard of either. Do they beat on cops alot?:) Can you give me your favorite titles?

Well, no, there isn't much cop beating, it's just that the protagonist is a karate practitioner, and a "guardian."

Anyway, I guess my favorite books are;
Daughter of the Forest
Kushiel's Dart (and its two sequels)
Firebird
Memoirs of a Geisha
I know that there are more, I just can't really think of them right now. But I do like historical fiction and fantasy a lot.

What about you?

I would be on my guard around Joe, but then that should really apply to everyone, even yourself. Not everyone is that they appear to be.

The more I think about it, the more I'm inclined to agree with you. If I weren't a psychologically grounded person, this whole affair would have landed me in the nut house by now.
