Sometimes, when explaining the actuality of my nature and my desires, it feels a lot like I'm saying "so, what really gets me off is being dangled over a cliff above pirahna infested water while i slowly hack away at the rope with a kitchen knife". Something about this post hit me. I guess because I seem to find myself a bit less tolerable of people whose opoinions and beliefs are not at least somewhat like my own. I know, it's very bad to admit, I don't know how to get out of that headset either.

I think it's mostly important to be able to respect that which you do not understand. Example- my roommate knows plenty about my lifestyle (it's hard not to when you live with me) and while it isn't her thing, and she cannot neccessarily comprehend why I enjoy the things I do; but she respects and tries to at least wrap her head around some of the more basic tenets of my lifestyle.

Interestly enough, this ties in well to the religion post you just made.
