Interesting setup so far. I would flesh out the locations, but thats just me. Do you get the call while at work or at home? Location would effect your reaction to the story she is telling. At work you won't want to laugh or scream for example. Is she calling you right after the job and from where, train, cafe, home? You seem to have a story in you head write it down and later you can add locations and shot info.
Since your working on a script here is a link to some script writing software that is free. Plus is lets you colaberate with others. When your ready to shoot you schedule nearly everything. Well, the totally piece is supposed to be from 5 to 7 minutes long (really 5). It's broken up into 3 parts, which are not "directly" connected by each story, but by their context. So, to make something work in each, I'm just presenting "flashes" or glimpses into this context. I was at home, She had just gone home, but to adding this information might possibly make the total piece too long. There is also more detail in the true story, but it's been stripped down to the most important parts, or the heart of the matter.

what kind of visuals are you going to use to accompany the monologue?
the visual context is the most important thing...that could really change
the impact of the words...
but you already knew that...
