So here's the update... The job I wanted so much (2 interviews) I didn't get.  They went with someone else... *sighs*.  So I'm again, looking sending out resumes... though It really starting to get me down.  I sent out nearly 50 resumes so far and only ( Read more... )

Loan, consolidation and defferment (which I only wish I could get) are all the devli. Money-sucking bastards! My grace period ends next month, so I fear how I'm going to pay all of it every month, ay!

Keep heart with the job hunt, I'm sure you've heard it (many times) before, but make sure everything is absolutely perfect in temrs of grammar and typos, and be sure to tailor your letter to the position. It seems like common sense, but after you look at a 100 resumes, you're really just looking for reasons to disqualify people and you'd be surprised what sort of idiot things people do.

Looking for a job is the most frustrating thing in the world. If I happen upon anything, I'll pass it your way. Keep heart, it'll all work out eventually, which isn't that helpful at this poin, I know, but it's the truth.

Yeah my grace period ends at the end of this month... Don't know why I do everything last minute. So I'm doing consolidation for all the loans, except 1 tiny one, and deferment or forbearance on them all too. There is no way I can get a job that'll pay well enough to dish out 2K a month for loans. *sighs* Oh well, such is life.

About the resume, yeah, I noticed a few absolutely retarded typos in the past few days. We'll see how it goes now. It seems like when I get optimistic about job search or interview, I get nowhere. If I stay pessimistic or even cynical, things start happening. Just my luck. I prefer to stay cynical then ;) Cheat the damn faith!

None of my remaining loans are eligible for consolidation. Argh. Good luck with the deferment: I hope your loan company is nice- I've heard horror stories about lack of deferment, but then, I know a lot of idiots, and you don't sem that dumb ( ... )

Oh Congrads on the job !! even if it's not the most exciting job (read your post on it). It's good to have something.

I won't give up, I'll just remain pessimistic about it :) It's easier that way! :) But I can't afford to give up anyway. Need a job.

P.S. Sorry to have canceled a few times, I'm sure D explained. Soon though! We'll try to get out to the munch this Thursday.
