So, surviving the 20 hours of failing-windshield-wipers-in-the-rain adventure road trip from the depths of LA, I'm back in the homestead. Well, kind of. The homestead now consisting of a blow up mattress shared between my sister and me in the guest bedroom of my mum's place. Christmasness was full of pleasantries.
