Did an hour at 5% incline at 2.9mph today which is what the machine told me is my ideal fat burning speed. 450 calories gone according to that...which isn't bad for what amounts to a moderate walking pace.

Gradually upping the time is part of my plan. I've read i'm supposed to alternate between fat burning zone and aerobic exercise. but im pretty sure the aerobic phase will be a lot easier once i've burned off more fat. I've factored in my sweat rate for proper hydration so having two cupholders is going to work nicely, water for anything up to an hour, powerade for anything over that. since i apparently sweat 18oz an hour.

If only knowledge equated results!
