*G* After I left the eye doc last time I wore my left contact inside out for about an hour. I was heading to Erin's house 4 hours away and my eyes had just been dilated so I needed the contacts so I could wear DARK sunglasses... but I couldn't feel the inside out lens because my eyeball was numb from the drops. O.o I knew something was wrong but it wasn't until the drop wore off that I realized my contact was inside out. I had to pull into a rest area and turn it the right way 'round. *bangs head*
And LOL -- I remember my first pair of glasses and exclaiming that "trees really have leaves!" It was the first time I could actually see them instead of just seeing a big green lollipop.
That sounds irritating, i can barely do anything after dilation, so well done managing to drive.
it's ridiculous how easy these are to turn inside out. At my fitting they told me it was damn near impossible to not be able to tell if it was the right way round before it got put in.
Youd think there would have been enough change in vision for me to have noticed (something they also said i'd be able to tell by) but apparently they're practically the same from both sides.
I have to put glasses on to look at them before i put them in and i still can't tell easily ...i'm hopeless.
