I wish a maple tree would throw up in my living room. Instead it looks like a children's toystore and/or bookstore threw up here. ;)

i remember those days. now, their playroom looks like a toy/bookstore. one that's been tossed in a tornado or something.

will niels have a room in your new home?

Yes, Niels will finally have his own room! I plan to make some space for toys downstairs, but definitely less than there is in our current living room.

thanks! i'm pretty lucky that my kids tolerate me.

right now joaquin's favorite cd of mine is rancid. seriously. he doesn't say full sentences yet, but he says..."mama moo-kkkk" meaning mama music.

when i put kid music on he shakes his head vigorously no, and says "uh=uh". if i put on the rancid cd he smiles and bounces his head back and forth and dances.

ben's favorite cd of the moment is my 'wicked' soundtrack. it's mine too. :)

I LOVED that movie too. What a fantastic discussion-starter, eh? Did you happen to see that screenwriter's other movie, "Being John Malkovich"?

it was funny. after i saw eternal sunshine, i thought...this movie is very reminiscent of being john malkovich (which i loved as well).

then, when i saw the 'extras' on the dvd, i realized that it was the same screenwriter.

fantastic movie.
