(no subject)
hellooooo! i've been away for so long, i feel so disconnected with everyone. :(
i WILL catch up on what you all have been doing for the past 10 days. yikes! ok...at least i'll try to. help me out and point me out to anything huge that you know i need to know right now! :)
we went to disneyland and stayed 3 nights at the concierge level. awe-some.

the boys enjoying hot chocolate in the concierge lounge after a long day at disney. there's a great view of the fireworks from here as well.
saw my ex (the one i was with when i met steve) at disneyland of all places. it was weird...but good.
i swore i wasn't going to buy crap for the boys (or anybody) this year, but i had to kind of rescind on that because i took each boy shopping for each other. they used their own allowance money (well, they used about $10 of theirs and we chipped in the other $10 each), and got to buy ANYTHING they wanted to for their brother. it was FUN!!! i've never seen them so excited. of course they bought each other some crazy noisy plastic things transformer-like robotic-dino-like stuff..and it is totally worth it! they are so excited to give them their presents. and i'm betting they will LOVE what they get.
steve's company christmas party was saturday. we did not win a large screen t.v. :(
our trees are up and decorated. the boys got their very own for their playroom this year and ben said "can we go wild?". so, since it WAS their tree, I had no say in it. there is ribbon abound...just thrown on. some freaky ass ornaments everywhere. the lights are shoved in there, and the tree is crooked. still. they are most proud of that little tree. :)
can't you just see the pride? hahah that tree is so funny.
we've had some cozy evenings holed up in our little house with the fire on & just loving & enjoying each other. steve reminded me that the things we enjoy with the boys now, they won't want to do when they're older. it's true...my how time flies. so in the meantime, here the boys are roasting marshmallows in our fireplace of all places! :)

we brought home a truckload of snow from the sequoias and the kids had a snowball fight in the driveway. the snow is still there 10 days later! that's mighty cold for california.

we're hosting the christmas party with our friends this weekend and we're all looking forward to it. good times are a comin'.
