A few weeks ago I was in the kitchen, the kids were all over the house and they were being really loud and bickering with each other and then running to me to complain/tattle/whine. My agitation was getting more and more out of control. I looked at Dan and said "When I was a kid I never understood that old lady in the shoe rhyme. I can see feed your kids, and put them to bed, but why whip them in the mean time. I SO GET IT NOW!!"
