Apparently, they really really wanted this racetrack and they didn't even know it.

"Mama? How does Santa know what to bring us? We didn't ask for this in our letter to him, and it's better than anything we could have dreamed of!" Hahah. :) Thankfully, Santa found this at Costco and thought it was cool

Yeah...who knew? I just bought it because it was a Cars racetrack. I guess the slotcar references the slot in the racetrack you put the little metal thingy that sticks out of the bottom of the cars. :)
