LJ Help

Is there any way to save a post to read later? Like let's say I find a fic I want to read on someone else's LJ--is there a way to bookmark it or 'like' it or, you know, any way to come back to it at a later date when I'm in the right mood for reading it?

thanks! :)

You can add it to your memories. It's a button that's usually either at the top or the bottom of a post, next to the "comment", "track", and so on functions. This also allows you to add tags to a certain post to make it easier for you to find it again - in case you want to bookmark lots and lots of posts.

La, la, I see someone already answered your question, hurrah for knowledgeable friends!

So I will instead go off on a tangent and say that that one Holmestice ACD fic that I rec'd to you (in which Watson writes the canon as a batsignal to other gays and lesbians, and in which the pairings are Holmes/Watson, Mary/OFC, and OFC/OFC, has been de-anoned and archived on the AO3, if you like that format better: Pilgrims of a Sort by earlybloomingparentheses.

(Sorry for the double-rec, if you got the previous one. It just seems right up your alley, and I couldn't tell if the previous rec had gotten lost in all the shuffle of figuring out how LJ works.)

Can I jump in and rec this one, too? It's great. I've been lurking in the fandom, but I need to head over and leave a comment anyway.

I'd completely forgotten the memory option, despite having used LJ more or less every day for several years now. :) M.

OH oh thank you for doing this again, because I HAD lost the other one because I just literally didn't know how to keep track of it. Now I've marked it on AO3 so I can read it tonight before bed :)
