I hate Gale's horrendous first post-QAF choice to star in a fucking lame tv movie about Martha Stewart with Cybil Shepherd.

Word is its a small part, so the above is an overstatement, even worse news, no?

Wow. I'm officially convinced that he's on crack. I mean, what exactly is the purpose of this venture? Mr. Indier-than-thou doing background work in a movie of the week? I doubt he's that strapped for cash.

The only reason I can imagine for him to take this part is to keep his face in CBS's productions hoping for a future Network TV gig. That is the only reason to do this kind of 'junk' work at this point in his career.

I thought he hated TV, though. He hates commercial shit. I mean, I think he has the chops to be in really good quality films, but clearly he's not pursuing that at this point. He won't even make an independent flick with a budget above a million bucks. I don't know wtf his problem is. I don't get him anymore. :/

At least with Soaps, they like to make the boys look pretty. Then we would get to see cleanshaven!bathed!notscary!Gale on a regular basis. As opposed to having to watch a stupid Martha Stewart movie just to catch a glimpse of his hotness.

Which network is it? NBC? CBS? They're pretty stupid for airing this (craptastic as it may be) on the same night where a 2-hour Lost finale is competing with a 2-hour American Idol finale. There may be 5 losers in America who will watch Martha instead.

I believe it's CBS but I had no idea it was airing so soon. Actually, I think Gale's very clever. He took the timing into account and figured nobody would see him in this loser of a movie.

Speaking of Gale's career, I'm going to see Assassin!Gale in "Life on the Ledge" next week. I shall of course give you a full report. :D

YAY! I hope it's good. I really liked "Particles of Truth", and I'd like to see Jennifer Elster continue making good films. And of course, even if he don't look pretty, Gale may be surprisingly good as a redneck assassin!
