I just want to throw this out there because it is important. I am not proud of the fact that I used to be a chronic drug user, but the information here is not just for drug users. I think everybody has taken Robitussin occasionally, and probably taken quite a bit when really ill. This is my story about it... Please be careful when taking cough

Wow, no kidding... Well I luckily never got into speed, I think it was the only thing I didn't do other than X. But who woulda thought that Robitussin could fuck your world so bad?

we were bored back in high school so we'd actually drink a full bottle and "robo". but as with most uppers, it's progressive. so soon it would be a little more than one. then 1 and a half. then 2, just to keep that buzz going. but it's so damn physically addictive you need it just to fuction. bad evil stuff. so when you quit it was a slow drastic removal.

imagine me on crank. now how scary is that? ;)

I definately cannot imagine you all sped up. That would be scary. I am so glad I left my stupid drug years behind me. The taste of Robitussin is the most disgusting thing in the world, I cannot imagine drinking two whole bottles of it.

This stuff is so scary. I was told by a doctor if I had taken 2 more milligrams of Dex, I would have been in a coma, and lost most all motor function. I am so glad we are both okay. It is a travesty when anyone unintentionally poisons themselves.

i think this stuff is so common. in high school we always did Robo, Dramamine, NoDoz and also a little Scothguard huffing. It amazed me to look back on my life and realize all the stupid choices I have made along the way.
what matters is that we are all here now and can help other people!

Not wanting to sound all curmudgeonly or anything, but you know people ain't gonna want our help - particularly young folks ... they'll just have to end up going and making their own dumb mistakes, same as we did, sadly. I mean, when did we ever listen to anyone else? I know I certainly didn't, more fool me.

Just a sad observation on life, as made from this high hill of my old age (heh heh, yeah right, Mr 39)

Glad to know you're ok, though. And, yeah, yecch, how could you actually drink that shit voluntarily? (gags and chortles). The only thing worse-tasting than Robitussin is some truly vile cough medicine we have here in Australia called Brondecon - do you have that? Luckily, I'm allergic to the active ingredient, Theophyllin, so I can avoid it like the plague now.

You are very correct... As a kid I thought everyone older than me was stupid and a square. So yeah you're probably right.

We don't have that cough syrup here, but I think they make all cough syrup taste awful on purpose as a deterent.
