Warning Labels

Aug 03, 2005 02:06

On a random inspiration I was walking around my house reading warning labels. I now think that I have lost most of my faith in humanity... I know this comes from the person who has licked cleaning products, but seriously some of this stuff makes me wonder what  the hell happened to require these types of cautionary advisements. So with no further ( Read more... )

I know it's been said before. But I still like the sentiment in the phrase:
"I think we need to start eliminating the stupid in society. We don't need to make any laws or anything, just take all the warning lables off all the products and let the problem sort itself out."

Seriously, if you can't survive because of utter stupidity, you deserve what ever you have coming to you.

I hope you enjoyed your trip back to Colorado. I enjoyed looking at your pictures, I forget sometimes how pretty Colorado Springs is. I need to take a day trip down there sometime. Take care!

It's frightening to think just how stupid people can be.

I said to a friend the other night that our society caters to those who probably shouldn't breed; hence the existence of the Darwin Awards website.

BTW thanks for keeping me on your recent LJ cut. I like reading about you and Roxy. I know I don't comment but I will try harder to do so in the future.

You're an interesting girl, and you're related to someone I care about very much, so it would take a lot to get me to drop you.

Someone told me they recently recalled Tylenol shipments because the warning labels were too advanced. I don't know if it's true, but I wouldn't be surprised. People, well the general population, has the intelligence of a six year old on crack.

And you shouldn't apoligize for not commenting and updating. Just means your escape the blakc abyss that is live journal. Which try as I might I just can seem to do.

I read that thing about the Tylenol. You know what is scarier, it was for children and infants. So people that would be reading that warning label, are smart enough to have kids but not smart enough to figure out how to administer medicine. The world totally frightens me.

I wish I did get away from Livejournal more, but really I probably spend way too much time on it too. Sometimes I just go through weird periods where I don't know what to say to anyone. Thank god school is starting soon then my brain will be occupied.

Honey, you weren't supposed to post a picture of my industrial-sized bottle of fake blood on the Internet! People will think I'm weird or something!

Ecclectic, honey... That's what you are.

Ecclectic is the classy version of bum-mumblin' crazy.

Besides who knows when you might need an entire half gallon of fake blood... I'm glad we're all stocked up.
