So, in the pilot episode of Life on Mars (the American remake, I think), the detective who's been flung back in time arrives at work, looks around, and then starts screaming "WHERE IS MY COMPUTER?!"

And the rest of the 1970s police force just look at him like he's totally out of his mind, or is completely self-entitled. This post reminded me of it.

You have to turn on the hard disks yourself by reaching into their guts and pressing a button. That is so fucking hardcore.
