Wow, I think Rove just managed to hit racism, sexism and transphobia (genderqueerphobia?) all at the same time within 30 seconds of the show starting.

I've never really liked him; he seems far too juvenile. I think he was right for the late 90's, but seems pretty out of date now.

He is pretty juvenile but I've never really minded that about him. I think he's a nice change for a lot of his guests too. I just can't bring myself to watch the rest of it tonight after that. I was enjoying this year's incarnation more than previous years too :(

Yeah that was pretty much my reaction. Booth was having hallucinations of Stewie...

He went from "wow isn't it funny that Alice Cooper has a girl's name, when I asked him that he slapped me, by the way he hits like a girl" to talking about Caster Semenya, whose name he couldn't be bothered to remember (Caster Semengjfafsd-verbal-keyboard-mash-who-cares). I switched off about five seconds into him talking about her so I don't know everything he said, and I know she's not trans but the whole "she doesn't look like a proper woman" thing kind of smacks of it. And I'm far less inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt after that time he called a FtM guy who had a child a "woman with a beard" (that's on youtube from the end part of his interview with Ross Noble this year, and it's really much worse than just that one comment).
