Haha I haven't posted in here since March! I am still very much alive, just mostly using twitter now I guess kind of? It's study break hence the procrastinating on actual studying by posting here, but also there's a meme going around which I think is kind of cool, so Name a fandom and I'll give you some unpopular opinions about it.

I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT POPULAR OPINIONS ARE FOR IT BUT I CAN GUESS

-I don't ship Anri with either of the boys or anyone else
-I think Celty/Shinra is CREEPY and would like if the show acknowledged this more (which isn't to say I don't like it as a pairing because I do but it is really screwed up)
-Shizuo is a character basically made for fandom- an angry violent guy who really is potentially soft and fluffy inside and potentially could change thanks to the power of love or whatever. Just never with Izaya although I do actually like Izaya/Shizuo as long as it is angry and hateful haha I think I'm like the only one on my flist who does.
-I want to see more of Kishitani Shingen

... I can't think of anything that's not ship related at the moment. I LIKE IT WHEN IT'S ABOUT SCREWY RELATIONSHIPS and less about gang violence but I also do like where these latest episodes are going so not complaining.

Uh...the only fandom that we have in common (I think!) that comes to mind is Avatar the Last Airbender. So: that.

One day I will buy a better computer or a PS3 and then we will share Dragon Age because I REALLY want to play it :(

-I don't ship anything! Except maybe Sokka and Suki but that's canon. I especially don't like the emphasis on Aang/Katara because they're just kids and romance shouldn't be that important to them (or maybe that was just me when I was that age).
-I really liked how everything turned out in the end although I think they could have foreshadowed it better and didn't really like the thing where Aang knows better than every single previous Avatar.

I dunno other than that, the only parts of Avatar fandom I know are nice and reasonable and I generally agree with them.

I dunno other than that, the only parts of Avatar fandom I know are nice and reasonable and I generally agree with them.

We may be hanging out in different parts of Avatar fandom. I recommend you stay where you are :/

It's mostly that the only Avatar fandom I know are people I already know and like, or people on racebending where even if they do have fandom opinions I dislike they only talk about a really important one I agree with.

I don't think there IS such a thing as an unpopular opinion in HP, everything is both popular and unpopular at the same time. But I do think that the adults letting/encouraging the kids to get involved like that was more screwed up than canon or the majority of fandom seems to think (possibly because one of the manga I follow is about a magical school and actually kind of goes into how screwed up it is to get kids involved in life or death situations).

I HAVE LITTLE ABOUT FIREFLY FANDOM it didn't even occur to me to get involved with it while I was watching it. At one point I had a look at a fic comm and it had stuff like River/Jayne all over it and I went AAAAH and ran away and never went back. So. I guess I don't like pairing River with anyone and especially not Jayne?

I am very fond of river/mal. aside from gen fic that's probably my favourite pairing aside from zoe/wash.

oh yeah, definitely. i quite like fic that discusses the aftermath of all that stuff. i guess i never think about that because it's like when i watch stargate and i assume that in between eps they have a truckload of shrink appointments etc so that they're not totally fucked up by the amount of dying, planet destroying shit that goes on on a regular basis.

At least they're adults in stargate, and it's their job and there is the possibility that they're getting truckloads of shrink appointments while we aren't looking XD. The wizarding world doesn't seem to have heard of anything like that.
