There be dragons here! (with apologies to Mr. Scott & the humpbacks)

Finally finished the first season of Game of Thrones and that ending was amazing! Daenerys is officially the biggest bad ass of the series. I actually cheered when they found her with the little guys. I'm so excited for season 2 - and I have to wait for April! aaaack!

Anyone know of any good sites for slashfic? ^^

I love reading them. Some are quite entertaining (case in point). I can't imagine you were on line much longer after posting this. ;)

Actually, no. My Macbook was closed for me and I got a different "laptop"... which was much bigger than my lap! *^^*

Oh yes, there's a delicious series on HBO, that covers most of the first book, if I understand it correctly ( ... )

oh, yes, the story seems to be widly spread and thought through carefully. I find it just very hard to enter a book when I'm not introduced to a person who is -like the reader- new to that made up world. the more made up the fantasy world is the more I need such a person.
just readin from one of the civilians perspectives is not as easy to get me into the book as to be the one new to the world. narrative perspective doesn't matter that much then.

have you read the books?

I bought the first one in audio form. It's 33 hours long and I get to listen to it for about 20 mins a day. This will be an epic endeavor...
