I'm doing my senior thesis on the interrelationship of fashion and music, dating from the 1950s to present day. remember the first "fashionably loud" fashion show on MTV where elastica played and Debbie Harry modeled some clothes during their set? that was fucking classic.

You know, I was trying to recall what that special was called! Thanks; I wrote a bit about it. I have the one with Republica taped somewhere...

i keep thinking about that robert altman movie ' ready to wear' or 'pret a porter' and how it wasnt till around then that models became like rock stars and movie stars.i also would like to point out what a brilliant movie zoolander is,and not just becouse owen is in it.how about milla who not only went from modeling but toi acting and having her own album and such.even paris hilton has an album,as did that one model who was best friends with christy turlington and dated adam of u2.bono even wrote a song on her album.

yeah i was initially gonna write about milla but its really not necessary to the thesis, except for maybe a quick mention concerning the intertwining of all facest of media.
