Yeah, Amoeba is the shiz-nizzle. I've always been surprised at how weak the independent record stores are in NYC. Very small. But there are a couple places on the upper west side where they sell bootlegs, so that's cool.

Yeah I like Bleaker Records but they have practically no vinyl except for the free 45s that I still have to properly wade through. I randomly picked up a Julian Cope 45 there last time. There's a small cute record shop around where my mom used to live on the upper west side that is great for 80s vinyl though. Nothing beats Amoeba.
