You know how much I love this story and this chapter is another layer in a very yummy cake. You've both captured that helpless, no-hope feeling just perfectly. Elijah's care and concern, Miranda's reassurance, Karl's nosiness for the win, omg! \o/

*WANTS ANOTHER SLICE FOMG*

I love Karl and Miranda in this story. They are such wonderful friends to Orlando. I hope Orlando will get his self-esteem back when living with Elijah, because he needs it.

*waits for next chapter, kitted out for very long wait* ;-)

Wow this is terrific! Have just had one long lovely read. I'm really enjoying all the detail in this. (Mom's a potter and we built a raku kiln when I was a kid!) I love the chance for Elijah to be heroic and rescue Orlando from this horrible situation and help rebuild his feeling of self-worth. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Thanks!

Dude, I'm into pottery myself and Raku is my very very favorite firing technique. I actually got a chance to work with Paul Soldner for most of one semester in college because he was a "close personal friend" (if you get my drift) with my professor.

He was amazing to learn from and it's a pretty awe inspiring thing to have paul soldner help you fire a piece and complement you on it. :-)

That sounds amazing! Hope your still doing it. I figured that one of you had a lot of ceramics experience. It's a nice added bonus in an already terrific fic. :)

It was amazing. I wish I was still in the studio everyday, but i'm not. It's expensive to rent time and it's hard to find time to go anyway. MY hope is when i buy a house I will be able to make one room a studio and then i'll be a happy camper :-)

Sam also took some ceramics in college too. Art is something we both love and wanted our boys to love it too in this story.

:-)
