Once every year or two, around this time, I will take up some horribly, HORRIBLY girly hobby. Normally just long enough to complete one project, go "well, that was great fun!" and forget that I ever knew how to do it

Today, I ignored my mother's voice in my head, who was chiming in to say "dipping a cookie in coffee does not make a cookie acceptable to eat at 9:45 in the morning."
Take that, mother's voice. Grown-up, but not an adult.
I read once, in something that was trying to describe me (probably a quiz, knowing me) that said I reject gender roles without going out of my way to actively defy them
