How do YOU organize/save/etc your photos both on the computer as well as printed or whatever?

I have so many pictures I don't even know where to begin. What a mess.

i save my pics in folders by year - month - day. i print my favorites & store in 12 x 12 albums in chronological order. i try to squeeze 6 months worth of prints into one album.

My camera automatically saves them for me by year - month - day and they all go in my pictures folder in a seperate folder titled "digital photos" since I save a lot in the pictues folder. I think that's the easiest way. I still have yet to have any prints done though. I suck!

Mine are seperated in albums by the date their uploaded.

I also organize by year, then by 'event' if I can. However, I don't have kids, and with kids everything is kind of an event, haha.

For printed ones that are not in frames, I have a couple of those photo organizing box things from Michaels.

Of course I would suggest that you back your pictures up ASAP if you haven't already because I almost lost 2 years worth when my hard drive died last time :(

I organize by person, I tag them on my computer and stuff too. I think my computer is actually more organized than my flickr rightnow. I'm about to buy a portable hard drive to keep all of Jack's pictures and videos. I'm in the same boat :-/
