So  apparently, the reason my father isn't talking to me is he thinks that I'm a manipulative gold-digging bitch. 
This is news to me.... I didn't know that not asking for ANYTHING for more than three years is indicative of being out to get all his money.
Anyone out there who this logic makes sense to?

Though, you know, manipulative's involved, just not, er, on your end. (Or maybe he's really losing it, rather than just fucking with you. It doesn't really matter, of course, but it's an interesting thing to ponder sometimes.)

From what we've heard about the guy, logic is not his best venue. Blood really doesn't mean anything when it comes to having some kind of mutually respectful relationship. It's a hard lesson to learn I think, (at least it was for me) that people who are supposed to love you and be worthy of your love just don't have it together enough to be able to deliver. Or sometimes they're just assholes.

Any father who isn't an entire fucking idiot should be proud that you came out smart and beautiful and should be proud of your accomplishments. Most of the folks in the community that know you (myself included) think you kick ass.
