Rewind about 8 1/2 yearsI'm about nine years old. I had played violin for about 1 1/2 years total. I was involved in the Mt. same thing happened to me. first taste of real literature i ever played was a very simple arrangement of mussorgskys 'pictures at an exhibition'. then halfway into my career, played the tushmalov orchestral arrangement. now i will be wrapping up my first year of university with the ravel arrangement (by far my favourite).

ah, nostalgia.

Yeah, we were gonna make it a quartet outing, so I'll probably be there (I don't think I have any other conflicts!)
