One of my tables at work today was a regular at lunch on Thursdays. He's 62, slouched in an electric blue wheelchair for the rest of his life, and a stroke victim, or survivor ( Read more... )

While you might not be able to change the way his life is, just know that having a wonderfully caring person like you that he can see every Thursday around 11:15 definitely makes the life that he does have, that much better, and gives him something to look forward too. It may not seem like much, but its definitely something, and its a very good thing, believe me.

seeped in sadness. sadness is beautiful to me. though i also am saddened by beautiful things. a possible affliction. i really liked this. thank you for sharing. it was hard to process b/c it's so real but all the more important to because of that
