It is hard, but you're doing good things, just being in college is accomplishing a great amount; and don't worry if things are hard right now, they were incredibly hard and boring for me when I got to U of M. I spent the first year in my room, went to a few meetings of things I was interested in but the place was so big, people already knew each other, and I thought I'd never find friends like TAMS again. But the key for me was participating in things I liked, over time I've gotten to know great people in student government and wolverine soft, some as good as TAMS friends. Give it time, soon you won't want to leave : P.
