I always make a daily visit to Spoofee.com (which you should too, imo) Anyway, today they posted a deal which I won't be taking advantage of due to physical location issues, BUT, they have a little USB tuner stick that lets you watch and record HDTV to your PC. I actually got one running on Vista Media Center, but I'm lazy, so I just get DirecTV HD and DVR. I think the fat kid has some sort of home theater pc running.

I've had mythtv running for a while using a Kworld PCI card, but I might check this out if it has Linux support.

Sorry Scott, I still don't have PC that can do HDTV yet either...but I did get my new TV, which will have a post to show it off when I finish up routhing all the cables and cleaning up the living room.

If it makes you feel better I just have over-the-air channels too, and I even made my own antenna cuz I'm too cheap to buy bunny ears.
