Sad day....
We had to put Patch down this morning. She was 6 days shy of 14. She's had arthritis in her back hip for a while and it was getting pretty bad. She would have terrible days and great days, but mostly she had ok days. The terrible days were getting more frequent and the great days were all but a distant memory. Walking and other updates
I have been so forgetful lately that it almost didn't even occur to me to post this, but Daniel is now officially a toddler! He has been taking random steps for a little while now, but never anything steady or significant - just practice. Now, he's walking at least as much as he crawls if not more. Ultrasound results!!!
Baby's healthy. Which is good, but not nearly as exciting as the fact that it's a girl!! The technician wouldn't commit to even being 90% sure, but if it's a boy, it will be the biggest surprise of my life! Winter storm!
We're under a severe winter storm advisory. Weather reporters made it sound like nothing big, but the actual warning from the National Weather Service made it sounds terrifying!! Anyway, we've had freezing rain and hail all day. Everything is covered in ice! It's beautiful! We're even frozen into our house! Which suck, because I totally ( Read more... ) -
Appt in which I am proven right!
I had a "consultation" appointment on Thursday that was basically a big waste of my time. Do we have any genetic concerns that we somehow didn't have when I was pregnant last year? Duh! This weekend we visited family. It was fun, but went by too fast. I also got my hair cut!! (only the second time since Daniel was born....pathetic, I know) It was just a trim with some highlights. The cuteness - it's too much!!!
Most of you have probably heard that it snowed in the midwest last night. We got about 3-5 inches or so. It's beautiful and the sun came out while I was shoveling to help me with the stubborn ice under the snow. Yeah sun!!
