Ron Paul has already stated publicly that he did not write the comments about blacks and Barbara Jordan. They were written by a guest writer, someone who was supposed to act as his substitute while he was traveling and whom he later fired. See the following article for all the details:

And you know what, I'm not a Republocrat, but I believe him: anybody with the courage to tell the truth about Amerika's neo-colonialist hegemonist wars in a national political debate with the fascist "base" would never stoop so such a racist low as alleged by some.

Ok, I wrote that he claimed not to write it in the post (I've further editied the post to more clearly state this). It doesn't change the fact that it appeared in his newsletter or that he wrote the other stuff up there. Did you guys just not read past that? He hasn't denied the other ones as far as I know

And I don't know whether he wrote that first excerpt or not. It's devoloed into a "He said, she said" type scenarion, which I tried to portray. There's no wat to know if he wrote it so I don't claim to know.
Yeah, fully. If elected, he will enact changes that benefit everybody, regardless of ethnicity. All these quotations from him are rather unalarming--there's not so much a sense of racism, as you seem to suggest, but rather of political arrogance--an arrogance from which he has distanced himself quite well. He doesn't come across as arrogant at the debates, which I'm sure you've seen
