i dunno. i really liked the books and i really liked the romance and i honestly didn't think edward was too bad. but you're right about bella being completely un-feminist. she's typically helpless and only wants to become a vampire b/c her man is (which is kinda understandable, but still...) ...so yeah. rant understood :O)
