A month ago I sent out my first applications and resumes to random shops and stores, but one of the top five was Barnes & Noble's. I kept calling, fell out of the habit, and then called again. I didn't get a chance to go due to an ice storm that hit that night. My luck, it sucks. But I'm going to check in and do it all over again once powers up.

BUT a storm hit that night and there was a town-wide/state-wide black out. BN was closed. I was all ready, dressed and snazzy, even though things were hectic, but I felt awful when no one answered at the store. I got over it quickly though because there's always tomorrow. Figuratively.
