I'm really sorry the day turned out badly. I know very well how it feels to find out something way later in the relationship and feel differently after that. Sooner or later though, you learn to forgive him though and know it was just a slip-up. There isn't a doubt in my (or his) mind that he is completely and utterly devoted to you and that it won't happen again now that you are so much closer and better established in your relationship.
