[This tyrant is none too pleased with what happened during the vampire event. He turns on the device to send out a private message.] ( Text | Private to Spencer )
[Brennan was asleep when her communicator began to yell and make sounds like glass breaking. That voice seems so familiar...
She sits up with a gasp. She can hear the crashing sounds from the hall as well as from her communicator. It sounds like someone is demolishing Dr. Wesker's lab.
Suddenly, she finds she's overcome with a protective rage. He may be dead, but his possessions should still be protected. She runs to her closet, grabbing a GIANT!ASS gun and a olive green jacket to cover her camisole and pajama pants.
Then she unbarricades her door and heads down the hall toward room number 49. To her surprise, she finds it's closed and locked. Without really thinking, she simply lifts her hand and knocks...]
[He turned his head toward the sound from the door, eyes glowing. Not knowing exactly who it was, he decided it best to change his eyes back to their normal blue color.
Taking a deep breath to try to calm himself, he walked over to the door and reached out for the handle. Taking another deep breath and muscles still tense, he opened the door.]
. . . Doctor Brennan.
[His eyes widened slightly as he noticed she was armed with a sizable weapon.]
[She doesn't know what she was expecting when the door opened... probably Nagi... but she definitely didn't expect it to be Dr. Wesker.
She stares in wide eyed disbelief. He's dead. She watched him explode. She had his blood all over her clothes. She had pulled bits of his flesh and brain matter out of her hair... Tears begin to cloud her eyes as these images flash through her mind.
Now he's here. Right here in front of her. Alive.
Nagi wasn't lying.
The unnecessarily huge gun clatters to the ground as she lunges forward, wrapping her arms around Wesker's chest and burying her face just under his chin.]
[At first he doesn't know what to do other than just stand there as she wrapped her arms around him. His muscles still stiff as he breathes out heavily.
Yes, he was still angry about the whole affair. Angry that he had lost control so easily and dropped his guard the way he did. However, he never really thought of how Dr. Brennan would feel. And why should he? He didn't feel anything for her, and he was surprised she was acting the way she was currently. He still saw her as nothing more than a mere human. Then again, her actions clearly proved that he was indeed getting close to her and that she did in fact trust him.
After a moment of debating about what to do, he reacted as any other would to not seem awkward or suspicious. He allowed his muscles to relax and returned the gesture, his arms around her shoulders.]

[For the purposes of hiatus, we'll handwave Spencer not noticing much of the vampire event by saying she was absorbed in some research or other. Thus this is all something of a surprise to her]
Death? Wait, what happened? Is there anything I can do to help?

[Sounds good! And he'll respond as such.]
I was affected by the mansion and was transformed into a vampire during the event, much to my dismay. I had an unfortunate run-in with another resident and died. I only know this is true because one moment I was in a corridor outside the kitchen and next I was here, back in my room.
Thank you for the offer, but I am doing fine.
If there is anything else you would like to know, it may be best if we meet in person.

Yes. Approximately half of the residents became vampires, and the other remained human for the duration of the event.
I am currently working on compiling notes for the project. The samples are safe inside the cooler and should remain viable for some time. If you would like to, I can meet you somewhere to discuss it in more detail.

My apologies, Doctor Brennan.

So...what will you do now? Or is this something else we should discuss in person?
