[As usual, Ryuho face hold absolutely no expression whatsoever.]

[He looks the quiz over, his face also remaining without expression.]

Seems you were paying attention during class, Ryuho. I would expect nothing less of you.

[He sets the paper down with a little more force than necessary, splintering the top of the desk. He grimaces before looking back to him.]

Yes, you may leave. Before you do, do you have any questions concerning the assignment?

Speaking of possibly cures, would you accept a paper on possibly extinct cantagions, as mentioned in historical documents?

You may have a more difficult time locating sources for the paper, but yes.

[A proud smirk appears at Ryuho's enthusiasm.]

[Ten pages about a virus? All right, writing that down in his planner to remember. Then putting said planner away to take this quiz which should be easy since he didn't fall asleep this time around, especially not with Mr. Wesker crashing into walls and everything else. So strange.

[Wesker takes the quiz from him, looking it over.]

I am surprised, Minato. Normally you are one to suffer from narcolepsy during my class.

[He slowly sets it down on the others, being careful to NOT destroy his desk this time.] Standard MLA format with at least five sources. Do you already have a topic in mind?

[He couldn't argue against that. The situation was different though; no one could miss the teacher acting that clumsily.]

[And Mr. Wesker is still unaware of the fact that his clumsiness is actually keeping his students awake.]

[He pushes the glasses back to their natural place.] Very well. Do you have any other questions pertaining to the paper or about the class in general?

[Despite the fact that he has one leg up on his desk and has not for one minute during class appeared to have been paying attention, Gokudera busts out his minimum fifteen sentences, plants the paper on the desk.

The other side of the paper, torn out of his notebook, was clearly being used for doodles of skulls and explosions and a very specific diagram of a bomb and some chemical structures and equations. Because THIS is what Gokudera does during lecture.

Hands in his pockets, he pauses at the desk, eyeballing Wesker, before turning to head off.]

[Wesker has indeed watched Gokudera throughout the entirety of the lecture, none too impressed with his behavior.

He straightens up as his student approaches and turns in his quiz. Looking it over, he is somewhat amazed at the answers, but then frowns when he turns the paper over.]

Gokudera. Mind explaining what this is? [He holds up the paper, pointing at the random doodles on the page.]

[Gokudera pauses, looking back.] I didn't want to waste paper.

[He raises an eyebrow and with a hint of sarcasm:] Oh? I was not aware that you were so environmentally conscious.

[Setting the paper down, the already visible crack in the wood lengthens, the desk creaking beneath his hand.] Now tell me, do you have a topic in mind for your paper?

[ Jade didn't fall asleep in class. Nope. No way. Because Jade never ever falls asleep at inconvenient times.

She is just... closing her eyes and concentrating on that last question she has yet to finish. With her head down. Totally. ]

[His eyes wander the room and land on a student who has taken it upon themselves to fall asleep during the quiz. His face remains void of expression as he carefully and slowly stands from his chair and makes his way over to her desk.]

Seems Jade does not find the quiz intellectually stimulating enough. [What was meant to be a tap on her desk to wake her actually cracks the desktop in half.]

[ The noise or sudden crack doesn't seem to wake her. She moves slightly, a look of discomfort on her face. ]

[He frowns, but then smiles. Leaning down, he hovers close to her ear.] Jade!

[Spencer, as usual, is among the first to finish her quiz. Also, somewhat typically for her, her quiz paper has writing on both sides, because in her mind five sentences isn't enough to even scratch the surface. It's a wonder she didn't start on a second sheet, truth be told.

The smile on her face as she moves to hand in her quiz paper is equal parts accomplished and respectful.]

[He nods to Spencer as she approaches and hands him her quiz, no doubt with each question answered thoroughly.] I appreciate how extensive your answers are, Spencer. Then again, I would expect no less from you.

[Setting the quiz down on the others after looking it over, he looks back to her.] Have you thought of what topic you would like to write about?

[Inwardly, Spencer is preening at the praise. On the surface, however, she is a picture of composed respect]

[She shakes her head at his question]

Not yet. There are so many fascinating viruses, I want to do a little research before I commit myself to any one of them.

Indeed there are. Such a wide range, everything from DNA-containing Iridoviruses to RNA-containing Rhabdoviruses.

[Just how much is she creeping for...Although he is aware she is a member of the Committee, Wesker prefers to treat her like any other student. Afraid of the Committee? pfft. So long as they don't cross him, he won't cross them.]
