amazing. :( I love this au so much lskjdfa. Kind of makes me glad I veered off into biology instead of biochem though, tbh. XD

Thank you for reading! :) I'm glad you liked it. :)

I'm glad you like this AU; this AU really means a lot to me, because it deals with a lot of issues that are really important to me, so I'm really glad you like it! :)

I adore chemistry, and it makes me sad that you chose biology over biochem (even though I totally understand; chem's just not for some people). Hopefully you can still appreciate the chemistry in this 'verse (and the whole world, because chemistry's everywhere ♥)

yeah, I discovered that I was more interested in biology relatively late in uni, I took a shitload of chem courses. XD So yeah, this verse definitely brings back a lot of memories, and some things that I didn't even realize were memories! :") So yeah, thank you so much for this, this is one of my very favourite KT verses. <3

Ah ha, I've never commented on this before; but oh my; this is amazing. ♥ Before I got called in by Psychology, I was so going to major in Chemistry. This makes me wish I wouldn't have answered the Psych-calling. ♥

Haha, I'm glad that you enjoy chemistry; hopefully you still enjoy it and can appreciate it, even as a psych major! ♥

MSDS' are undoubtedly one of the most useful resources for anybody, whether they're working in a chemical laboratory or not. Of course, it has more popularity among people working in chemistry laboratories, but it's very useful no matter what.

I would be a little concerned if you're expressing danger in acetic acid though; on the scale of acids--even organic acids like acetic--acetic acid is pretty safe. In fact, it's even found copiously in vinegar! (slightly diluted from pure acetic acid, but still the active ingredient in it). Hopefully you take proper precautions in your laboratory when you work with more dangerous chemicals to prevent more dangerous injuries.

Haha, I see! Well, I hope you're alright. :) Hopefully your accident didn't scare you away from chemistry (I swear, the chemicals are friendly. XD)

Thank you for reading. :)

There are lots of really dangerous chemicals; all the same, as long as you follow safety precautions and don't do silly things like not wash off chemical spills/not go to the hospital with you spill something that can penetrate your skin. In a way, I wanted this story to reflect both the dangers of chemicals that we experience in our daily life, and to draw awareness to just being careful and making sure you know the dangers of what you use before you use it.

They aren't pharmacists here, just chemistry students. This is UCSD!AU, which is an AU that started off with this story and just kept expanding. Long story short, everybody in JE is a student in the sciences in some form or the other. (KAT-TUN got to be chemistry majors, NewS are engineers, and Arashi are biologists.) They are not pre-pharm, at least not at this point in my mind. There's a lot more to chemistry than just pharmaceuticals, and while I haven't quite worked out the complete details of what their respective future interests would be, I ( ... )
