She's beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful.
It's like a flash of illumination. Like the air is suddenly more concentrated with beauty. Heat rushes to his cheeks. There's something more in his life now, but he's not sure what.
And she's walking away, she's leaving, and his life is about to return to it's former equilibrium state and-
“Wait!”
He steps towards the left, trying to find himself at a state where he can be with her. But he can't, can he? He's an idol, isn't he?
But his life will never be the same.
“What's your name?” he calls, a last-ditch attempt to find a state where they can coexist.
“Rei,” she says as the solution changes, and it's like she's precipitating out, leaving him alone, floating in solvent. They're reaching a new equilibrium, and she doesn't belong in this one either. “You can call me Rei, Kame-san.”
