Well, as far as names you could go for the old standby Irish-woman names of Mary, Anne, Eileen, Caitlin, and like that. What's her personality like?

Evan sounds like a decent minor-character first name. Maybe Evan Caldwell, or Evan Todd?

I am making you do this! It's peer pressure I tell you! Hahaha, peer pressure isn't as bad as the self-pressure to finish the damn thing!

Word processing in Google docs is pretty decent and also free! Open Office works nicely too :-)

I think I might go with Evan Caldwell! And I might use Eileen too if your sister doesn't mind!

Eh, she shouldn't mind, she shares the name with enough people! Do you like how the book is turning out? Also, your icon is absolutely adorable!

I like it so far! There's a whole bunch of garbage in among the good stuff that needs weeding out but I am being a good little WriMo and ignoring it :-) My characters are doing unexpected things already, as I was told they would - I threw Evan in there haphazardly so the other reporter would have someone to chat with, and suddenly he's her potential love interest!

I'm still on chapter one! I think at the rate I'm going, I'll hit 50,000 words okay, but this thing won't be anywhere near done by then.
