gossip girl is my very secret television crush

May 18, 2009 21:04

I am likely going to find this post to be terribly embarrassing when I wake up the next morning, but I am far too full of squee upon watching tonight's Gossip Girl season finale! (Just wondering: does anyone on the flist watch this show? Or am I alone in my curious love for it?)

spoilers and rambling within that no one will likely read! )

insert squee here, gossip girl

It's such an addictive, mindless guilty pleasure!

alksdfhlkja yes and it's the best of its kind! I mean, I love more intelligent shows like The West Wing and Rome to death, but entertainment for entertainment's sake is not a bad thing!

*says nothing more about Chuck/Blair*

Waaaaatch it. *pokepokepoke* :DD (And, yes, I would tell you to watch Gossip Girl over The Tudors! It's far less ponderous and takes itself far less seriously.)

Yes, they are! They're like. Catherine and Heathcliff in their obvious passion for one another, only they don't exist in classic literature and wear more expensive clothes. x)

I've missed the last six or eight episodes, but enjoy it quite a bit generally. I, too, ship Chuck/Blair like a madwoman. *g*
