I bought a book in the bazaar on cooking, I thought it might be fun to try to learn how to cook. It also gives me something to do with most of my spare time.

I was wondering if anyone would like to help me. And potentially tell me of how much of a failure my cooking may or may not be.

cooking!, yay for making messes, potential fail

Cooking is very enjoyable, but I am not very good at it. Yet!

I would not mind helping anytime!

[Unfortunately, he will not be much help at all.]

We can practice together then. It doesn't seem like it would be to difficult.

That could be quite fun! What types of things were you thinking we should try then?

Anything that appears easy. Perhaps some omelets? They looks as though they'd be easy to make.

Oooh, cooking! That's really fun, I'm still learning too!

I come home with a lot of produce from work on the farm and I give a lot of it away to neighbors anyway... I can give some to you, too, if you want!

I don't even know half the things this book talks about, measurements and everything. I've a lot to learn.

That would be lovely, thank you.

Those parts are tough, but once you get some handy measuring cups and spoons it becomes a lot easier! They label their sizes and everything!

You're making omelets, right? Hmmm. [Pause while he goes over his own cookbooks...]

I'll leave some peppers and other veggies for you, right on your doorstep. Where do you live? I get up really early, so I can make the drop bright and super duper early!

I'll have to buy them before I start.

That's right, they look pretty easy.

Section one- [And here she writes down where exactly.}

I don't know if you can learn much of that from a book.

I can cook with you sometime! People tell me I'm good at it, and you learn a lot more with someone there to show you.

I thought it might be good to try learning from it.

I'd like that, quite a bit. And I'm sure you're right, it would be easier.

That other guy was right. Omelets are a good way to start. You just need to be really careful when you fold them at the end so they don't get burned.

Don't worry! These things are so much easier when you have friends doing it with you.

Really? I'll have to make a note of that.

[Because she seriously would end up burning it.]

I'll definitely welcome all the help I can get. I don't want to burn anything down.

It would be! It's definitely worthwhile, I'd say.

I hope it proves to be. I'm very worried about the damage I'll cause.

If you keep a watch on things, I'm sure you'll do fine.

You're probably right. I can't help but worry though.

Cooking is indeed fun! The bookstore has quite a good variety of cookbooks in their collection, in my experience.

I'll have to go and buy a couple more, once I've learned a bit.

A fair course of action. What sort of dishes are you interested in?

And I'm Stellaris, by the way. I don't think I have written with you before.

Meals mostly. And I owe someone, so I'm thinking of practicing making desserts and surprising him.

A pleasure, Stellaris. I'm Lily.
