I liked it a lot, but I'm not sure how they're going to find a believable way to keep Neal out of prison when he comes back home. (I was spoiled for him running, but I didn't know the circumstances surrounding it.) On the one hand, I love that Peter signaled him to run, but on the other, I don't know how they come back from that. I was thinking that the commutation was going to go through, and something was going to happen with his father, and he was going to run because of that as soon as he was free.
I'm very much looking forward to finding everything out about his father next season! (I tossed some speculation around way back when that maybe he was going to end up being some kind of a psycho, but I didn't *really* expect them to go that route. Though I wouldn't be surprised if, despite the character being called "evil," there ends up being more to the story of whatever he was involved in.)
I also enjoyed it, and I thought it was great to see Peter and Neal working together. The whole Rembrandt thing was a hoot. I liked Kramer because he seems more like a man with his knickers in a knot than the whole super villain thing. Conspiracy theories always get my eyes rolling. I wonder if Kramer isn't just a bit jealous of Peter. Sarah was a lot of fun in this too. I enjoyed the various testimonies, particularly June's. She's always a highlight of any show on which she appears. And I liked that Jones both approved of Neal and thought he should serve his time. It seemed right that there should be a number of ways of looking at the situation
