Neal's going to get in bed with the King of the Crossroads (WC s5 spoilers of the awesome variety)

Rarely do my casting wishes for my shows come so gloriously true. My outlook for the new season of White Collar just improved substantially.

Mark Sheppard (CROWLEY!) is coming back to WC, reprising his role as Curtis Hagen, a.k.a. The Dutchman, a.k.a. Peter and Neal's first-bagged bad guy, from way back in the pilot, whom I've wanted to see return since I watched that ep, and even more in coming to adore Sheppard as Crowley on Supernatural.

But it gets better. He's not coming back for one ep.

He's not coming back for two eps.

Clutch your panties, folks, because he's coming back for a *seven-episode arc*.

Seven. Freaking. Episodes.

And -- wait for it -- Neal apparently strikes a bargain with him in order to help Peter with his frame-up troubles, leaving Hagen pulling his strings.

Did you catch that? Neal is making a deal with a guy played by the guy who plays the demon heading the "Barter Your Soul at the Crossroads" department of hell.

Aside from the pure awesomeness of seeing Hagen not only brought back, but brought back for such a substantial role, I feel like White Collar is playing footsie with Supernatural under the table and winking at me, and it's making me very happy.

As you were.
